I have a Civic 92 DX Hatchback sometimes the car will turn on sometimes it wont I test my fuel pump and its good. I don’t know if you guys have notice when you turn the key before you turn it on you hear the fuel pump working well my fuel pump you will hear it working sometimes I wont hear it work that when the car doesn’t turn on. I have a fuel kill switch and I tested that and is good. The engine will crank but its like there is no electricity passing thru. I replace the ACG (something like that under my dash panel) fuse I replace that and the car still sometimes will turn on sometimes not. I disconnected the connectors front the fuel pump and tested the connectors and when I turn the key to turn it on sometimes they will work sometimes not. Can it be my key switch?

By the way ones the car starts it runs fine I could run 300 miles no problem ones I turn it off it won’t start maybe 3 to 5 minutes later it will crank back up as long as I don’t turn off the car is good.
well, i would help you..but you posted this in the wrong forum bud. Honda Civic/Del Sol 1992-2000 is where you need this moved

I would lean towards your ignition switch. The reason main relays fail is because they get heat soaked and the solder looses contact, you let them cool they work again. Usually if you have a car that has been sitting in the sunlight with windows up, you go to start it and it wont start, by this time you have already opened your door and windows have been rolled down because you are frustrated your car won't start, inside temps are going down and finally your car starts. 88-95 civic ignition switches are not uncommon to fail. I hope this helps you, I work at Hendrick Honda and I have been burned before with just tossing a main relay in and sending it on it's way. If you have doubts pull your main relay out and get a magnifying glass and you can look for cracks in the solder.
yeah its gotta be your main relay
if you want to try....take the relay apart and re-solder all the contacts on top...just make sure you dont solder two together
the same thing happened to my del sol and i re-did the contacts and havent had a problem yet...been almost a year

It don't ''gotta'' be anything. It could be, but doesn't have to be.

relays cost $4-6 at a junk yard, everyone i know around here has had that problem. theres alot of ways of checking but ive noticed that they start to stain different colors when there going bad. besides its only 5 dollars and i quick walk around a junk yard XD
Go to radioshack. Buy a soldering iron, solder braid to remove solder from relay, and solder for electronic use. Take out your main relay desolder and remove all solder from relay and resolder new joints. Whole thing will cost you 25 dollars and that's pushing it. You can fix it yourself. Rule of thumb: when you remove your main relay it's usually attached to the metal on the car. The main relay gets hot and that's what messes it up. The car gets hot, transfers to main relay and that's where your problem is. When I removed my main relay I zip tied it to the wires underneath my steering wheel. Hope that helps.
that's the master relay !!. when you put the key in "ON "got to hear a "CLICK" noise under your steering wheel if it doesn't make the noise then if the master relay, , or your fuel pump relay,, used to happen to me , and first started with the master relay and a year later begun with the fuel pump relay,, need to replace it ,, do not worry .. you wont spend more than a 100 bucks!!
