Well ... just curious if there is anyone local willing to let me plug thier obd2 p72 in my 00 gsr to see if it starts with it so I can figure out if my ecu went bad?

Hey even if you could find somebody to let you use their ecu the car still won't start because 2000 has a immobilzer chip in it and it has to be programmed to the key.

well, anyway, it turned out to be the timing belt that is bad. I found out last night after some more troubleshooting.
