its a cable ys1 tranny competition stage 5 clutch. if im cruising along and push in the clutch and rev it up pretty high the car still wants to pull forward, so this is having an effect on me shifting when racing because it will not go into gear. what is the problem with it?
I have the exact same problem with the exact same clutch.
Thought my clutch was slipping so i bought a brand new comp stage 5. Had the problem you are experiencing. swapped a bunch of parts and still no luck. Went back to my old clutch and problem was solved.
Have a few friends that have experienced this with CC as well
I was told to have 15 thousandths taken off the face of the flywheel to give it more room to disengage.
I will be back at the track next thursday to see if it works, if it doesnt, bye bye comp clutch.

I went throught 2 stage 5 CC clutches in 1 month. Everyone kept telling me it was not the clutch. I had the same exact issue you are experiencing. I switched to an Exedy twin disc and my problem was solved, have not had a problem since.
