I recently had a b20 swapped into my 95 LS and for whatever reason now i have a slight rattle coming from my hood. It only rattles when its at an idle. If i press down on the hood it immediately goes away. Just wondering if theres a way i can adjust the latch to hold it down tighter or if i can just put a couple washers somewhere to make it stop... any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 

do you have the rubber lining along the front of the hood and is it wrinkled?

 

Yeah i do have the rubber lining. Its not wrinkled though.

 

it's a good thing it's not wrinkled like mine was when i bought my car...
next thing to check is the "rubber stoppers" on the sides of the underhood that are pressed when the hood is closed
