higher vtec cross over?

Default higher vtec cross over?

ive seen alot of people do this in a all motor setup dont really understand why? can some one explain this to me?

You need to research.

It may have been that with them using large camshafts, the x-over "wanted" to be raised in order to obtain a smoother transition to the big lobe. It isnt a "rule" that raising the x-over does anything.

I thought it made your VTEC "pop", "crack", or "hit" harder?!

Yes it's a "crack" thing but only when you take a harder "hit"

Ya'll iz getnit all wrongz. V-tec x-over should be set at 2000 rpm so you makes mo pegasus sooner!

This is why people like myself, DonF, MOTU and others flame people so hard. I cant believe such a large population of society is this [freak]ing stupid.

Sure, why not. The farther away you move it from where it should be, the harder it will 'pop.' Set yours at 7K and you'll love the mad powah when it 'pops.'
