i have a 1996 Lude Vtec and my buddy told me that it has an eliminater chip and i was wondering if there is a way to remove it??

why punch him in the head?? so u saying that it means my 96 lude doesnt have an eliminater chip? cus my buddy has a 93 lude vtec and it doesnt hav an eliminater chip

you should kick him in the *****.

well u know that new cars this days have a chip in which stop them from going past a certian speed like my brothers toyota Tacoma TRD he cant go past 115mph and his speedometer says like 130mph thats what i mean i should of put speed eliminater chip well anyways u now know what i mean does the the 96 lude have one?

 

I am not sure about OBD2 but I know that the OBD1 USDM P13s do not have a speed limiter. If you are using a JDM P13, the speed limiter is approximately 118-120MPH.

 

Oh, that's called a governor. I don't think you have one...you should be able to hit 140-150.

 

In Australia they dont.
