question about B and D series parts

question about B and D series parts
Im wanting to know if a camshaft from a b16 will fit a d16. Ive heard that a few parts are interchangable and I am curious as to which so I know my options when it comes to engine parts.

no no no no no. b16 has 2 cams. d16 has one cam. b16 has one cam for iontake valves and one for exhaust valves. the d16 cam works both sides.

from what i know only d series engines are interchangable with d series engines? never really heard of parts from a b series bein attached to a d?
