Will the type r crank and rods with p 73 pistons fit in a b18b1 block and around what kind of compression ratio am i looking at? Also i have a b16a head.

 

Yes, but why would you want to de-stroke it?
The compression will be the same as an itr, because all b18's have the same deck height and the b16 head is the same thats on the itr.

I think the all the b18's have the same deck height. So with that theory you should be fine. I'm almost 90% Double check though.

What if i was to keep the stock crank?

 

Then use ls rods with the p73 pistons mounted to them (req's machine shop)
