Default Rims for my EG?

Alright so im looking for some new wheels for my EG. My 17" ADR's are starting to **** me off. Making my car lookl ike ****. I can buy some Rota Group Ns from my bud, but they are black with red lip.. not sure how that would look on my car... Any other suggestions? Dont have a ton of cash...

Also, i wanna go down from 17s to 15 or 16s... right now there isnt any room for even a fingertip between my tire and fender, if i go to 15 or 16, how much of a gap am i goign to have? Assuming i stick with the same profile tires.

Here is my car, what kind of rims/color to get?

I say get some black 16" rota slips. Your car would be one unique ride.

Tons of cash eh? Why not get some sprintharts or R/C starks and pass on the rotas. At least you'll get back what you pay for those if you ever want to sell them again.

the red wont look good with that color. Why does everyone say buy rota? Konigs cheap and I dont see them as much as rotas on hondas but I see konig all over subys in my valley.

I like the chrome with that color so Id stay machined or chrome or polished.

Those look nice and the black accent will give it some depth.
That is if you wanna guy konig or rota.

Needs a rear lip if you're going to keep those sideskirts. Your gap will be filled if you get 15's 195/50....or 16's 205/45. I'm guessing you're on 205/40's now. You won't want that small of a tire on a 15 or 16. Find a wheel YOU like that you can afford and do it. At the end of the day, you park it at home, and you have to drive it...make it what you want to look at everyday, not what HT wants to see online.

Im just asking for opinions... ive never looked into rims before... dont know too many styles...

And yes i am running 205/40's now...
When i switch to 16's, i want a bit more of a gap... my paint on my fenders is getting [freak]ed up the way it is now.

How much are you looking to spend?

And my thoughts on rims are like my thoughts on shoes. I wear the same shoes everyday, my white orange and red nike vandals. Now not all my shirts match the orange and red, but I dont care cause I love those shoes. So when it comes to rims, I suggest looking around EVERYWHERE, check out the rare rim thread, check out cheap rims, enkies, rotas, everything huge lips, low offsets, look at EVERYTHING and NEVER look at the car or color of the car. Find some RIMS you fall in love with and throw them on your car dispite the color of your car.
