Default Brown valve?

On my gsr we took off the head to do the head gasket, we noticed every valve excpet for one was black, the far right exhaust valve was brown like a noticable different color then the others, is it not opening properly or what?

Sounds like that valve is sticking open a little, and is getting too hot. When that happens, it generally burns off all carbon deposites. Its also a good way to drop a valve, since the extra heat hurts its strength.
