Default Need a new bumper

After driving my S2000 through two New England winters my front bumper is officially destroyed. I had thought of just buying the OEM lip that I wanted anyway to cover up some of the damage but I don't think that will look good. I am not even sure that I can mount it because the bottom of my bumper is cracked significantly. So I was planning on getting the OEM bumper for 02' but I have been looking at the ordering the AP2 bumper. I know that it will fit fine on my 02' but I am pretty sure I will also need to get the AP2 grill. I am having a hard time deciding which way to go, I know its boils down to a matter of taste but I am bad at decisions. Anyone have any pics of an 02' with a AP2 front bumper I just wanna see what it will look like with the AP1 headlights?

Here's what im working with now.... yea its ugly.

Actually I really didn't beat the **** out of it, I got stuck driving in the big storm we had this year in Mass. So literally for an hour I drove through snow that was about 5-7 inches deep so my front acted like a plow, thats how all the paint got chipped off. The two cracks in it happened actually a few days later. I was behind a large truck and two pieces of ice/snow fell off the back and I had no chance to maneuver out of the way. I got home and I had those two big cracks in it, needless to say I was upset. I was planning of painting it but no sense in doing that now with those cracks.

So I spent most of my work day looking through the clean s2k thread and i'm definatly going to get the AP2 bumper and eventually the lip.

I was thinking of just giving it away. The only thing that would be prevent that is if I decide to put the current bumper on for the winter months only. I don't know if that would be more work than its worth... hmmm. I was just looking at that APR lip and it looks nice but $445 and maybe another $100-$150 for paint seems like a lot compared to $350 for the stock one painted. Found this pic of the APR and I do have to say I like it but.....

The AP2 bumper, IMO looks 10x better then the AP1! I have the bumper on my AP1. The APR lip can be found used quite often for much less that that. You should know that the APR lip is much more aggressive then the stock lip and sits lower, esp in the center.

AP2 and AP2 OEM lip FTW

I agree AP2 bumper and AP2 lip. Besides there is no way that my new floor jack would fit under that APR lip even though its one of those low profile aluminum race jacks.

amuse front > asm > ap1 > ap1 w/ j's lip > ap2 w/ mugen lip > ap2

i cant even get a jack under the front of my car... couldnt when it was stock. just jack it up from the sides.
