hey guys ive always had eg's and ef's but i wanna get a rsx pretty soon..i figure why spend tons of money in a older car when i kan get a newer car thats alrede up to my standards...butttt...dont kno shttt about rsx's..so my question is what year brings what motor?...is it only the type-s's that have the k20..or...i dont even kno..just let me kno so i dont waste my oney..and just give me any advice you can..thanks

 

1st gen rsx(02-04) have a k20a2
2nd gen rsx(05-06) have a k20z1
bases in all years have a k20a3

I'm sure if you search you can find threads talking about which motor comes in which year etc... etc... As well as anything you need to know about the car. As for owning a RSX, go for it.

02-04 type s dc5 are 6speed k20a2 with 200hp
05-06 type s are also 6speed but k20z1 with 210hp
don't even waste time with the 5speed or auto base model might as well get a EP3
