Honda del sol subwoofer box.
I am looking for a sub box that is setup on the storage boxes. I have seen a a couple sols that have that kind of setup. Anyone know what i am talking about and if there is something out there that i can buy to hook the subs behind my seats
a little expensive, but the JL stealthbox is so worth it. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/prod...=1403 Its a totally slick setup.
looks intense. I am looking more for one where the plasic is still there i like that look but if there isnt one out there then i will look into this. I will just have to sell my 12s for for some 8s.
If you don't wanna pay out the money for the stealth box, just get some 8s. I have two 8's in my sol and still have room for the roof and other junk in my trunk.
i have seen people with 10 or 8 inch squares that are sitting behind the seats. it looks like its a box that they bought that fits in hte storage.
try car toys and places that handle stereos and speakers, Im taking the subs out of my truck and putting in my del sol because the box is thin enough to fit behind the seats. I want to keep my plastics as well so I have some storage.

you can have it sitting in the spair wheel well. just need thicker wood and something to clap the wood down with. and something to protect the face of the sub from junk in the trunk.
the beauty of the stealth is that the whole trunk is still free. I bolted the cap and the amp to the divider wall between the cabin and the trunk, roof still fits. its sweet having a sol with a stereo that i can still take camping. cooler, tent, 2 packs, 2 sleeping bags, roof, and room to spare. giggidy.
I have a del sol, best way fiberglass... find someone who knows how to do this, I am building mine, I went to a school just to learn how to mess with fiberglass and carbon fiber.
I put 20 dollars into the box , its only for one eight.

well i did it a lil different the whole thing is to get the bass into the passenger compartment and this is what i did,,it makes it sound so much better,,,, i got 2 speaker ports from ebay and a 3" hole saw from my local hardware store and that's it first u r gonna have to port the trunk so take off the carpet from the trunk and on the corners by the shocks, that's where u have to port them and in car or cab make a mark under the rear speaker and remove the panels behind the seats including the storage box compartments there should be 6 peaces well anyways here r all the pics from my wife's del sol thanks and if u have any questions let me know and please comment.....
