Default Prosport gauges help! (pictures provided)

Ok guys, i am a bit confused. I just bought the prosport oil pressure and oil temperature gauge. I also bought the prosport sandwich plate for easy install. Well, now i am a little confused.

These are the instructions sent with the gauges. These instructions are for the oil pressure gauge.

The same first 3 steps apply to the oil temperature gauge as well. Here are the other steps for the temp.

Here is what was sent with the oil pressure gauge.

1.What i don't get is how they expect all that wiring to work....there is so little. I can't see it getting much farther than the firewall. How in the world is it suppose to reach the oil pressure sender? I am assuming i will be needing to buy extra wire.

2. does someone have a picture of where i can tap a 12v source near the A-pillar.

3. In step 6 i also don't understand what all those little lines are that they are connecting the wires too.

4. In regards to the temp gauge do i need to do step 5 if i have the sandwich plate? I would assume no?

5. In addition to my confusion what do they mean by white and orange in the first step when they call them "note"?

The help would be appreciated guys! Thanks in advance.

let me try to help..

1: extend the wires ...
2: i ran my 12v source off a fuse so the light to my gauge comes on when the car turns on. i've seen a lot of people say they run them off the cig lighter.
3: i don't fully understand that question?
4: you should be able to do both off the sandwich plate or at least i know the greddy one has 2.
5: no idea.

1. figures lol
2. how do you run it off a fuse? sorry for the noob question but i suck at electrical
3. In step 6 of the oil pressure install there are 7 little slits about (1 cm long in the picture) that all the wires connect to. What are those?
4. It does infact have 2 connections so i assumed that step with the rad does not need to be there if the sandwich plate is present, which it is
5. Still need an answer

any oil temp gauge i've ever seen has just been fed off either tapping the block or the sandwich plate. never seen that. can anyone else shed some light?

and the easiest ghetto way is to just pop the fuse cover
take out a fuse you want to run off of (check what it goes to)
stick the wire in and insert that fuse right back in, so the wire makes contact between the fuse and the "seat" lol

are you serious? you can just jam wires into the fuses like that? don't they risk falling out or are they seriously able to just sit underneath with no problems?

well i've had mine ghettoed up like that for over 2 years. never fouled out, and even with my autometer bulb coming on whenever the cars on (instead of just when the headlights are turned out) the bulb has never burnt out either.

Thanks for the replies Saosinx. I actually got my other questions answered by a guy using some prosports on preludepower.com so this thread is pretty much done for me
