Default Civic DX cat relocate help please.

I tried searching all over the place for information on relocating the cat in my DX nothing is really descriptive... that or I dont know how to look. I want to use ex exhaust becuase it will be cheaper then to replace the dx cat header peice of crap. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? I know I am going to need to get a longer wire for one of the O2 sensors. What part number is that? Any sites out there sell the wire or adapter? Also if posible is there any detailed instructions on the relocate or has anyone done it? Any help would be greatlly apreciated.

Thanks
Greg

I don't know if you've done anything yet, but I'm in the same boat. You shouldn't have to get longer wires or change them at all. What you can do is take apart the wire harness that the wires run through all the way back to the main loom. There should be enough wire to reach the cat under the car at that point. This allows you to run the EX exhaust as well as most aftermarket systems. Someone here said it worked perfectly- found it in a search. When people say "lengthen" or "extend" wires, you can often re-route them instead of cutting.

Thanks man... i been waiting for someone to reply. Thats great help. I did not do the swap for the exhaust yet... But I did give in and bought a apexi ws2 cat back system. Not installed yet. Its also for a dx civic. What im hoping is i might be able to use the exhaust system for my ex swap later on? Wonder if I have to do some fabricating.

Yea, you should have bought the EX WS2. I think you're gonna have to cut the DX WS2 a little shorter to fit the longer header/cat setup of the EX. Make sense? Maybe you can exhange it.
