well i just swaped my stock motor back in LS and it runs verry hot..overheating all the time..i even changed my thermostat and drilled a few small holes for extra cooling and nothing...no poped head gasket plugs look good oil is good,it jsut runs super hot..o and temp outside is about 95-98 degrees..

i need help guys SMOG is coming up and i want this fixed..thnaks

Jump the wires at the fan switch to see if the fans, relay, wiring and fuse are good. If it doesnt work, then start there. If all is good then jack the front of the car up and take the radiator cap off and let it run while watching for bubbles, check the radiator for debris that will limit airflow and clean if necessary. Just because the oil looks good doesnt mean the head gasket isnt blown. If its low on coolant and its not leaking.......Good luck

well the fan dose work cause when the car heats up the fan comes on all pulls the right way..i even pull the radiator out to check for leaks with a psi test and nothing..everthing is good..im just gonna pull the thermostat out and see how it goes tomorrow.

o and when the car heats up to the point where its gonna over heat for some reason the coolant gos somewhere..cause when i pull over the radiator is hella low on coolant..:

well drove the car to and from work today in about 100 plus degree weather.i pulled thermo out and now it dosent over eat runs normal..wtf lol...
