On this is an FF-01. All vintage. All hop-ups too. I'll post a picture. I've had these R/C's for about 10 to 12 years. I was cleaning my garage and I found them. Decided to take them out and clean them....

dang, i didn't know any of the manufacturers made a viable FF setup. you should update the electronics with a brushless setup and go bash that piece!

I do mainly local races.... My city holds little events in the civic center parking lot. So thats pretty cool. When I go TCS I put a 27 turn Johnson motor in it. Its required... Do you race???

well, since you ask!
believe it or not i used to race mini-z's!

here is my practice track which i've since taken apart

actually back in the day i used to race 1/10 buggy and 1/12 carpet.
this is my xx which my mom recently found in her attic -
i played with x-ray's 1/18 stuff for a little while, their m18 and m18t but sold them both for a few reasons

i then built an xxx-t mf2 with a mamba max 7700 setup but i stayed with nimh. i built it to get back into 1/10 but at the time they didn't have a brushless class and lipo were totally outlawed. i will probably eventually get a nice lipo setup for it.

I used to have a T-MAXX but I didn't like it. So I've stuck to on road ever since. The reason I've stuck to Tamiya is because of there attension to detail in thier bodies. As you could see from the pictures they really look like the actual cars. I also have lots of unbuilt cars that I guess I'm stuck collecting just for the mere fact they're honda's that they don't make any more.....

i used to have an Team Associated TC3 but i sold that a while ago. i used to race off-road with my Team Losi XXX-T MFE...i updated the suspension but i just dont really feel like messin' with it anymore. i'm really wantin' to get started in airplanes though...

prepare to spend some cash. planes are so expensive because they break.
i actually bailed out of RC for the most part to build model jets because of the cost. what happens is you end up buying SO many hop up parts, and the technology keeps changing, so you end up spending way too much cash on 'em. the planes are the worst because when they crash, it's catastrophic.
they are fun tho!

that's the reason i like their scale model kits. they have a lot of detail compared to other kits.

i'm just tired of maintaining the batteries...and since technology keeps updating, i don't feel like dumping another $300 into a brushless set-up. i'm wanin' to just buy a cheap but decent trainer and work my way up...i don't wanna go big because then i'll just go home broke
i miss racing though...but being in college and being disabled kinda leaves me with not enough time for racing. kinda sucks...
i just want something that's easy to maintain.

I actually came in here expecting to see an old HPI mini RS4... although, come to think of it, I believe those came with EK bodies.
I used to be an avid gas onroad racer... been out of competition since around 2002 or so.
