Starter Issues
I'm having some issues with my starter suddenly. It get's no signal when I turn the key. I can start the car by jumping the positive battery terminal to the spade connection (the one on the top) on the starter.
Any ideas why my ignition isn't sending the signal to the starter? I've checked all my fuses, and I've been tracing all my wire connections. Could this be an ECU issue?

Well, the problem just got a little weirder... I thought I'd see if the problem was with my chipped obd1 ecu. I plugged in my stock obd2 ecu, and it started up just fine. Any idea why this might be happening? My ecu seems to run the car just fine while in operation. It just won't start it with the key.
Not an extra one... If anyone in the Bay Area has an extra socketed obd1 ecu lying around, I would much appreciate your letting me borrow it to help me diagnose what's going on
