Default Mishimoto SRI take a look.

Anyone running with one of these?

Looks much different in design than any other brands, the tube length and bends, also filter diameter/ not a cone or round shape.

Your thread is useless in a search, there is no mention of product name... I did a search with mishimoto, nothing came up.

***.

Regardless no one here has one or has ordered one. Price is significantly lower than MSRP of $375, its mid $200's at the moment may be worth a shot.

I am not looking to a cheap alternative to AEM, Injen, etc. I had an AEM cai on my last car was great. This thing is completely different than any of the other intakes for our cars on the market, as i stated, piping and of course filter size and shape along with the carbon fiber heat sheild with an odd shape as well.

Nevermind I found some better info googling and on 8th.

One guy bought it said he would post about it when installed its been 3 months. A few videos of Mishimoto brand CF intakes on other cars, Honda Fit project car for some online tuner magazine, and on a Z.

This article is installation and dyno run of mishimoto short ram onto a honda fit.

http://www.tunerzine.com/view_...art-6

Some information gathered from this thread mainly that someone actually bought one. Price has come down so might not be a bad option.

http://www.8thcivic.com/forums....html

Interesting that their website saids that it is coming soon, but I have found the intake on third party sites and ebay with the matching product number MMCFI-CIV-06SI

http://www.mishimoto.com/honda....html

From some ebay/google searches prices vary from $240-$375 shipped

Here are some additional photos

Gives a better idea of how intake/filter is shaped

Link to one website that sells this intake, pretty much costs the same as an Injen or AEM, etc.

BTW i'm from niskayuna, NY

If someone installs it incorrectly could cause CEL. If part does not fit properly for some reason then might throw a CEL. No ECU reset may throw a CEL... any number of things for freak reasons.

Different applications do not have any direct correlation, but this brand SIR on a Honda Fit gained hp... 3rd party tested. On the first link to that http://www.tunerzine one.

I decided to order one, I will buy it next Friday and will post a review I do not plan on doing a dyno run, so it will only be a butt dyno review I only have video on my digi camera but should be decent enough to take sound clips.
