has any body tried the yacht type boat paint? roll it on, and it self levels. kinda limited on colors.

i'll probably shoot it, but people have rolled it on with pretty damn good results.

my car is not worth spending a but loaded of money on. just want to keep the rust at bay. the PO didn't take real great care of the care.

 

oic, if your trying to keep rust away, go to your local auto parts store they will have a gel type fluid that dissolves rust away, it wont completely get rid of it but it will pull away the rusted through sheet metal, what you will have left is surface rust and of course the pitting that rust causes, and then throw some rattle can rustoleum primer over that, and im sure if your looking for something cheap the yacht paint may work, but dont expect miracles, i imagine its designed for pretty large areas and may not quite turn out in sharp corners such as fenders
