intake touched battery.now won't start
all good from under the hood and under the dash. went to go clean my fitv, all of a sudden sparks from my intake and battery. after cleaning went to go install and it dosn't start. nothing, all my lights turn on and everthing but IDK
sounds like a main relay. does th fuel pump prime before i try to turn it over? if not i would bet my money on the main relay. they are designed to keep everything else from shorting out in the event of a short. its a pain in the *** but it saves u in the long run

You either burned out one of the main fuses or killed the power or ground wire from the battery.
The main fuses look like the yellow one in this pic.

it is the big yellow fuse.
my buddy had the same issue.
he said hell it doesn't look blown. you could barely see a crack in the copper electrode. we replaced it with a spare one I had and the car fired right up.

because it's the same ****. The AEM ones come with little rubber pieces to avoid this such problem. Take the precautions and you'll be fine.
