koni yellows and gc short review and minor problem
well iv had my gsr for about 2 weeks...i slapped on my old gc's(250/200) and bought some yellows last weekend...
i have driven on them for a week...i must say it has dramatically changed the feel of the car...i use to have these same gc's and tokico blues on my old skool accord and the yellows are by far superior to the blues...i love em and i plan on gettign them for my crx hybrid...
one minor gripe of mine however...when i used the poly sleeves from the gc i didnt use any of the **** rings supplied cause i couldnt get the sleeve on to the shock...so right now i get a slight shifting of the sleeves then i back outta the drive way or go over speed bumps...i was thinking of going and just getting H&R coils for the car but i dont wanna spend more money not to mention im too lazy to pull everything out again...
yellows are cool...glad i spent the extra cash for em...im actually trying to talk my talk my buddy outta buying AGXs and spend more for the yellows

Make sure he gets the yellows. The AGX are OK but the koni are better. Infinite adjustment really does help especially when racing.

Koni's are a smaller bodied shock and requires a koni adapter kit from ground control to work properly.
250/200? Can you get them that low? Even standard Integar rates are much higher than that.

they are 280/350 approximately . . . .
212/117 is a little closer. Not sure about Type R, maybe high 200's?
First off, the stock rates wouldn't be higer in the rear, as IN GENERAL that would promote oversteer. Second, 350 is way too high for how soft the ride is.

Try again...

Misread thought he meant standard ground control rates.
The "stock" integra rates quoted sound right. ITR is about 246/180

I thought you had to get actual Koni-specific GC's (i.e. you can't just add an adapter to standard GC's)... yes/no/maybe??

...looks like i will have to pull them again
...as for the spring rates...the gcs are actually from my old ride...89 accord...back then when i ordered the gcs i never specified a specific spring rate...i have been planning to getting another set of coils but i dont know what rates i should get....
