94 eg couple swap (need help)

Default 94 eg couple swap (need help)

my boy has a 91 d15 sohc non vtec block. the eg couple has a blown d16y sohc vtec (big *** hole in the block by #3 cly ) can we use the d15 block (non vtec) with the d16 head(vtec) any advice would be greatly appreciate

the d16Y8 is obd2 the D15b7 is obd1 and d15b2 is obd0
what kind of vehicle are we talking about here??

yes you can but would not recommend its always a hassle and does not usualy make any extra power but if thats all you have and need to make do it will work.

with the amount of money you will spend on using the d15 block your better off just getiing a new d16. It takes a bit of work to use the d16 head on the d15.. And d16's dont go for that much money.
