"90k" mile service - 2001 Accord
Hey guys,
I currently have 96k miles on my 2001 Accord, and it's in my best interest to get my timing belt done along with whatever else is necessary when it's checked. Other than an inspection of the car and the timing belt, would you guys recommend I get my valve cover gasket, water pump, belt tensioner, etc. additionally and anything else? Thanks

~7 years or 100k is generally when it's done.
Timing Belt
Water Pump
Tensioner
Belts
Oil Change
Tranny Fluid change
Brake fluid
PS fluid
Clutch/Flywheel (up to you)
I like doing a lot of preventative maintenance rather than wait till it breaks.

I have personally never replaced a tentioner pully on a honda for maint. Only had to do it when purchasing a used engine that has had a rusted one or damaged one. Every thing else I would deff. do

the tensioner isnt that expensive, cutting corners only works sometimes

Its not cutting corners if your not replacing parts that don't need to be.
Thats just like saying if your changing the transmission fluid you might as well change the filter its only about $12. But to replace it you have to pull the tranny and crack the case to get to it. Theres no need to replace perfectly good working parts on a car.
The old saying goes: If its not broke don't fix it.

its just the idea that the bearing in the pulley is a wear item,
