Default The Route 80 Horror Story + More

So a few days ago i was sitting at dunkin doughnuts and was showing someone my ValveCover paint job when i decided to put one of the Spark Plug boots out. I pull it out and the thing is covered in OIL. Quickly put it back in and refire the car, everything is ok.

Today I'm on my way down Route 80 toward Lodi NJ. Everything is alright until some guy in a BMW cuts me off then slams on the brakes. Little did i know when i got into another lane there was a shredded tire flying down the road.

I nail the gas and try to avoid it but end up smacking it with the right front. The car dies and the CEL comes on. I try to refire and make my way toward the shoulder. Open the hood and check all the wire that i can see, everything appears alright but still won't fire.

So my questions to Honda-Tech are, did i do something really serious here?
and what could the problem(s) be?

well the oil on the spark plug boot sounds like when you painted your valve cover you installed the valve cover gasket grommets on improperly. This will not cause your car not to start.... maybe run like **** but shouldn't cause it not to start. But what i would do now in your situation is find out what code your car is throwing and then get back to us.

Default FV-QR

Sounds like all your problems are unrelated to each other.

turns out that when i hit the tread it went up and destroyed the dizzy.
Literally destroyed everything inside cap
So the mech ordered one for me from PA
and my new axles are on! so thats a plus
good thing this mechanic is a family friend
