Default Tire kicking the Honda...

So... here I am on a boring Saturday and I decide to go tire kick Honda's. When I get to the CBR1k I was really surprised by the fit and finish. I thought it left a bit to be desired to be honest, not that it would steer me away from buying one because I would not leave it stock... but after having some better end goods as recent rides, I must really be spoiled... because the casting marks and deeply pitted sand molds of the CBR were showing very badly. I still like the bike allot though.

Discuss...

Well... I would consider a 1999-2000 Mille SP, the one with the adjustable head angle, adjustable engine placement, adjustable swing arm pivot, carbon bodywork, and Cosworth built 100mm engine... but they are just not available.

we'll see what the v4 is like when she comes out

Ah, drooooooool. I love those bikes.

As for the CBR1K, I don't think castings imperfections are going to affect the bike. I'd love one for myself.
