I'm gaping my rings and from what I have read the top ring should be at .016 and the bottom (thicker ring) should be at.014. The top rings out of the box is at .012 which is fine cause that leaves room to file them. but the bottom ring is at bigger then .025 but thats as high as my valve lash tool goes. I'm having trouble finding the actual ring gap for this brand and size piston even though there very common. Do I have the wrong gap. I will keep searching but I need the answer pretty fast.
