Default H22a7 Head on to H22A1 Block

Hi there ppl,

I have a H22A7 head,will this fit straight on to my 4th gen prleude bb4 2.2vtec h22a1.?

Ifso what head gasket will i have to use?H22a7 or H22a1,and are there any other changes or specifics that need to be adhered to??

lol now THERE'S a good way to waste a whole day of work! I guess if no one else has done it before then that's how you'll have to do it though.

im guessing h22a7 head is the obd2 head in the u.k. yes you can put it on your obd1 bottom end, i have that setup with darton sleeves and im using the a1 headgasket but they're both the same cuz i asked golden eagle and they siad its not a problem.

Yes its the U.K h22a7 OBD2....A1 headgasket,hmm not heard of them.Would an mls steel headgasket suffice??

Also when searching for the head gasket,i find several bores i.e 87mm 87.5mm 88mm...Do you know the correct bore size?

yeah a golden eagle headgasket is your best bet they use oem and rebore them, i beleive stock is 87mm but 87.5 wont hurt, just call them.
