Helmets: RX7 Corsair / Suomy Spec1R extreme

Review: I love them both, the Suomy is loud but fits snug, I like the feeling its not going to fly off if my strap comes loose. The graphics on it are unreal, everyone comments on it. As for the Arai its just butter, easy to take the sheild off, very quiet and looks great too.

New rider hurr.

I don't understand why most helmets have those weird designs.

I just want a straight black helmet...so I can look like Solid Snake.

suomy vandal 155 cafe racer, ive had a ton of compliments so far and i think its because there is so much going on when you look at it everybody can find something to like, plus the metallic is nuts, these pics dont even do it justice.the fit took some getting used and i had ordered a large and it didnt fit well at all asnd ended up having to return it for a medium. but other peoples reviews are accurate because it was tight at first but after the 200 miles or so i have put on it it has felt better every day.

Hey i was wondering, all these high $$$ helmet you guys own, what do you guys do with them when you go somewhere?

Like i know sometimes you go to a place where you really don't want to carry them or bring them inside. like say a restaurant or something like that. What do you do with them?

I just have an $80 helmet with a cool design and scared to leave it unattended for 5 secs, I couldn't imagine having a $400+ helmet. Just wondering what you guys do?

if I ever had a helmet that was that cheap, I'd throw it away if it doesn't retail higher than 500$, it doesn't touch my head. /ignorance

Anyways, I don't ride my bike to resturants, but if I did, I would take my helmet with me. I don't care what looks I get, If I have my helmet, then I am also wearing a leather jacket, and A* boots, so the helmet is the least of my hassles.

No wonder you dont have a bike, you can't even afford a 1200 helmet.

Yea the one i got it was just $80 and when I wrecked i slammed my head first into the ground on rocks and stuff beside the road and it didn't bother the helmet at all other then little scratches..I was really surprised.

I was just wondering if like you locked it to the bike or if you knew you was going to a place like that just not ride a bike?

I would get another helmet man. If the helmet received a blow, then it's done for. Besides, it's a cheap 80$ lid, get something new with a little more quality. Check out the Scorpions, great helmets for the price.

Oh, and I take my lid and leather jacket with me everywhere. I walk around campus and any where I have to go with them. I NEVER leave any piece of my gear unatended.

Triumph didn't feel that a helmet lock was necessary, so I have no way of leaving it with the bike. Not that I would ever, anyways.

Buy a new helmet, what's your budget like? let me know, and I always have leads on nicely priced new helmets, as I am always looking.

http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com has arai's for great prices right now, and they look amazing. Again, let me know your budget, and I can help you out. Is there a helmet city around you? they can measure, and fit you to what brand and size that will fit your head perfectly.
