200k for 6th gen Civic=HIGH???
I've been seeing quite a few 6th gens being sold. I can't believe the prices they want with over 200k. So what's the avg lifespan of the car, considering they change things like water pump, timing belt, alternator, starter, radiator?

mine 95 si just turned 210K miles on it when i pulled it out we did a leak down and comp test and it was still good just change the little things and they keep running
Dang. I got rid of my 94 Celica after it hit 150k and it was still running smooth. Just needed a new clutch after 110k and that was it. I thought that was pretty good.
yeah, but regardless it's a honda, so keep up basic maintenence and it will run forever!!!!
and if the engine finally gives out just spend a grand and get a whole other d swap

My 99 y8 has 192-193k and change and still running strong. I redline it multiple times a week too. I just need a valve lash adjustment and new transmission (both my brother - previous owner - and I have beaten the **** out of it so the transmission has gone through a few fixes
).
I don't doubt my car can run til 250k. Just need to keep maintaining it.
