have a 98 civic hatch and i bought the car with the original prior it being swapped with a vtech, to sum it up, he did a poor job reswapping back to stock and have had countless problems. at anytime when im driving the car almost just goes in and out but still driving, when it goes out it sounds like the engine is backfiring and makes a loud repetitive noise, its hard to accelerate, and the check engine light flashes. 3rd time out of a shop, downstream O2 sensor was replaced, throttle body was cleaned, components to the intake were missing and replaced, new spark plugs, and even after all of this the car goes in and out unpredictably ad runs hard and rough. i do not know what sensors are still in or any kind device to sustain the car. any kind of help would be amazing. thank you
