Default TDC Sensor Test

I've got a b16a swap in my 96ek (bought it swapped),and whoever did the wiring butchered it. i had lots of codes going off randomly, 22, 23 mostly, and those were fixed with some decent wiring. But since i fixed the wiring on my knock sensor, i've been getting the TDC code8, and i'm not sure if that's another wiring problem, or if it coincidentally broke at the same time.

Supposing that the sensor was actually broken, how poorly would the car be running? It stutters a little under 2k, but above that it seems almost 100%. I've gotta get a resistance tester and check the wires yet, but i figured i'd ask about it now. thanks in advance

bump. i just replace by distributor and I am getting same code. Can this code be caused by the timing being off?
