I have a 2001 gsr. I am doing a ACT clutch kit and flywheel. I wanted to know if I have to do any adjustments on clutch pedal or can I just put everything back together the way that it came apart? Secondly this is my first time pulling my transmission is there any tips or things I should look out for? Thanks in advance

 

make sure you dont forget the throw out bearning,,,you dont need to make any adjustments usualy....just make sure you use the alignment tool they give you

 

I have that bearing and the pilot bearing also...hopefully I don't run into any problems

 

well good luck...and make sure you clean the hell out of the flywheel before you put it in

 

I got the trans out of the car last night...looks like my pressure plate failed. One of the springs broke and caused the disc inside the plate to shatter into three peices. Was pretty crazy never seen anything like that before.

 

ouch...nothin else wrong with the tranny?
