so my tranny went bad on my 05' SI, so i went on creigstlist and got one from an 04' but with less miles, my clutch was good cuz i replaced it not to long ago, after i peut the new tranny in everything was working fine for about 2weeks but then one day i was just driving home and my car went on limp mode, it wont go pass 3k and if i put my foot the the floor the rpm's will drop and die, and then a very loud waining sound is coming from the transmission, so id u guys know what it is or think what it is, it would be great...

go get the car scanned for codes. seems like your ECU has failed you.

 

sounds like your clutch is going out.. same thing happen to me..

 

It does sound like the clutch went out but I don't think the ECU would put it into limp mode for that.

 

yea pull the codes from your ECU! Goto Autozone and tell us what they are and we can help you further

 

well i had 2 codes, 1 was the secondary 02 sensor, second was the heater core circuit...the reason my secondary 02 is bad is cuz when i had my race header on it burnt the wires so i need 2 buy i new one, but i dont think its the clutch cuz the clutch i bout at the begining of the year so idk
