quick question for the Cali people out there, or anyone else whos gone through this. i had my 00 si stolen earlier this year, and had it recovered, minus 1 engine, and misc. other parts. im thinking of putting it back together, and sticking a jdm b16b in it from a ctr by way of hmotorsonline. my only concern is of course Ca'**** smog rules. will the ecu be able to be hooked up to the smog check systems? what, if anything, would i need to change in terms of the engine to make it pass state salvage "rules". i went to the dmv and got some info which says i have to bring the car in for a visual inspection. other than that, any help would be greatly appreciated. thnx much...
