First off, I appoligize that this isn't Honda, or even automotive related. . .but this IS an appearance and cosmetic issue (my personal appearance, that is)! I was wondering if anyone with photshop skills (or any artistic ability, for that matter) would be willing to help me with a tattoo design. The tattoo is kinda a "memorial" for my 17 year old grilfriend, who died of bone cancer 3 months ago. I plan on paying a local tattoo artist to generate a few designs as well, but I'd like to see what anyone here could come up with. The basic idea I have is fairly simple, actually.

I want something similar to the 311 logo, with a few changes:


things I like about the logo:

• The proportions of the oval
• how the numbers "break" the oval in a few places

Things I would like to see changed:

• "311" changed to "SLW" and a font that is less stylized
• No periods after the letters/numbers
• color and shading isn't really necessary, as I'm just getting single color inking

A fellow prelude owner on preludeonline.com was nice enough to generate this design for me, which I like becuase it incorporates a heart shape. I'm not too wild about the "gothic" style "W" or the thin little bars on the ends of the letters though:


I'd really appreciate any assistance here, but realize it's kinda a picky request. This tattoo has a butt-load of sentimental value, so I just want to make sure I'm really happy with the design I decide upon. I know some people here have done some really impressive wallpapers, signatures, and banners and I'd just like to see what these creative folks might be able to come up with. . .exercise as much artistic expression as you see fit. If I like what you come up with enough to have it permenantly engraved into my skin, I'd be more than willing to compensate you financially. Thanks, Tim
