Default brake light wont turn off (NOT e-brake) / brakes losing pressure

i have searched and most ppl on here have issues with their e-brakes.

i have an h22 hatch and recently my brake lights have been just staying on all the time. even when the car is off my taillights are still on as if someone is sitting on my brakes. i had to disconnect my battery terminal so it wont drain my battery lol.

also when i brake on the road, it would slowly lose pressure, i can pump it out and it would be firm again but then would lose pressure slowly again.

any suggestions?

hmmm...well im pretty sure the pedal does come all the way up. it loses pressure but very very slowly...and if i pump it, it will regain pressure.

i havent checked fluids yet so im not sure if its a leak or not. will check that in the morning!

i think ure having 2 probs at the same time. the brake light i reckon is the switch at the pedal where the plastic "thingy" must have broken,it happen to my car where i just added a piece small hard paper and glue it on the pedal switch.
about the losing pressure, check for leak first and brake fluid level... it there's no leak, may be there is air bubble and u need to bleed the air out.. its my opinion so i could be wrong.good luck

You need to bleed your brakes. RR, LF, LR, RF. Don't let the fluid run dry. You'll have a good pedal in no time.
