Ok. I have a 1994 Eg hatch. I have A/C, and up until today it worked perfect. When It started to rain I rolled the windows up and went to turn on the A/C, the light comes on but the Compressor will not engage / turn on, the condensor fan also does not come on.

Since I've had the car ( 1 year) , sometimes when I turn the car lights on the climate control lights will not light up, If I tap on the climate control the lights will cut on, I noticed that when the climate control lights are on when I move the fan speed switch, the A/C light will go out. Could my problem be because of a bad connection to the climate control or is it something else. If anyone has any input it would greatly be appreciated, thanks.

 

I have the same problem with my climate control unit. My A/C works perfectly at all times but the lights on my climate control do not work when I turn on my lights at night. Sometimes randomly half of the climate control lights will turn on and then maybe if I put on the A/C the lights will go out or something in that random fashion. Sorry to steal the thread-sort of- but does anyone know if there is most likely just a bulb that I need to change or something electrical?
