I just did a flush to my car, did a vacuum to around 28hg, and used a 12oz can of freon and my pressure its around 40 psi already...

I though I needed 2 cans to recharge a crx/civic system.....?

 

i am ever so slightly low on freon too. i hooked up my gauges to se how much i was gonna add. my system pressure was very high too. i was around 38psi. my compressor wasnt kicking on or off but i know it can blow a litttle colder...what gives?

 

was the A/C on max when you tried to fill it up?

 

yeah, but I dont have my condenser fan right now... I guess that when the condenser is cooler, the pressure is cooler....

I will get a fan and see if I need to add more.... Also, the receiver has alot of micro bubbles so I think the system needs more freon to properly work.
