this car is giving me problems i got 91 hatch si with the stock d16 engine which it wont start. i change the battery and the alternater, still nothing, is there any way i could fix it, i have search for this but im keep on getting b16 problems,

this happend to me and still figuring out how to fix it but all i know is check your ecu first see what kind of codes its throwing then change the main relay, check distributor cap or rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wire, fuel pump and line check this it might help

 

idk if this help but push start the car ....and turn off and try turn on again ....

 

the alt would have nothing to do with not starting. .. you need to go down the line of possibilitys first ecu codes.. then theres a ecu fuse under hood and a engine relay fuse under dash and they both have to be good to start.(that happend to me recently twice). if those fuses are good then turn the motor over and pull each spark wire from plug to ensure spark... then pull the fuel line off of filter and turn key to prime and if it flows you know u got fuel.. and if u got fuel and spark check your cam and crank alignment.. possibly clogged injectors.. ...oh ya when you plug the engine relay in the fuse box you can hear it click on if theres no click its crap..

 

ok here's my problem i checked my ecu and its throwing error code 15. thur morning its started ok then after 3 pm where its really really hot it wont start so i bought a main relay from the junk shop went back to my car still wont start, changed my rotor and dis cap still no luck, change my coil spark plugs and wire still no luck, i checked the spark plug for sparks, and there is none, what seems to be the problem, the ecu is not burned and im running out of solution can you help me cause i need my car really bad

 

when it wont start. check 4 spark and fuel . and look up engine codes.
