Default This car is giving me hell...

Ok, I have searched for two hours now and haven't found anything yet. Here's my problem, i have a 94 civic vx hatch with a d15b7 in it... the car will start up and idle really high, at about 1,700. Then, over a period of about 20 or 30 seconds, the car will work its way down to an idle of about 1,100 or 1,200, then rev itself up to about 2,000 or 3,000, and then promptly die. It does the same thing every time. the CEL code is 10. I know that is the Intake Air Temp sensor, but would that cause my problem? I was also thinking IAC valve as well. I replaced the IAC valve, and I also rigged up a MAP sensor to the harness because the CEL was throwing a 3 code before as well. Well i fixed the MAP sensor problem and the 3 CEL code went away and I thought the problem was fixed but its not, now I'm getting the 10 code. So long story short, I have a new IAC valve, new MAP sensor, and am not throwing any CEL codes except for the 10. Just wondering if it could be anything else though, thanks!

if there's not a prob with your IAT then why are you getting a code? Think about it. check the voltages and make sure its within spec, if not u prob have a bad sensor.

unplug your IAT and see if it does anything while the car is running, if nothing happens then something with your IAT is def messed up.
