i bought a 90 hf crx and its dpfi ..i thought they were mpfi. well mine is not and i was wondering since it is suppose to be if i bought the manifold and the ecu and the si engine harness and resistor box if its plug and play...let me know asap so i can get this thing converted ...Thanks for looking and giving your advice

wait a minute... it the HF should be mpfi... maybe you have a dx. Do you have tilt steering? (Steering column goes up and down?)

 

The hf are all mpfi. It is a good possibility your vehicle is not an hf.

I highly doubt a previous owner would go through the trouble to convert the mpfi to dpfi.

 

It's probably a dx, not a hf. If you need help with the mpfi swap, shoot me a pm i'm not far from auburn.

 

Just google your VIN and it will tell you if it's a HF (1.5L) or not, or look for the obvious signs of an HF.

HF's have:
2 spoke steering wheel
No rear hatch wiper
Seat bolstering only goes up to mid chest (not all the way up like DX or Si seats)
Didn't come with factory rear hatch cover
No factory sunroof
