wow two different heart attacks at the same time, thats very strange, hopefully they are both ok

 

We were there last night. Very bizarre situation. I give a lot of credit to Budd's Creek and the IHRA for handling the situation as well as they did. The racing wasn't as important as these two human lives that were in potential danger, so we had an hour delay before qualifying started. They took the whole medical staff to the hospital so we had to wait. They got some of their staff back from the hospital but not their "top" staff docs, so they waited until they had their ENTIRE staff back on property before the racing resumed. Great job MIR and IHRA!!!

Glad to hear these tracks have the safety of the fans and racers in control. I hope both parties are doing good.

 

speaking for weird stuff last night i went out to our local night drags and they had a new viper hit the wall 19yr kid driving the car it was his frist pass ever down the 1320

 

thats freaky! wow

 

unfortunatly one of the 2 passed away at the hospital


they had a moment of silence and some prayers and things at the track. very respectful. MIR

 

damn thats terrible. RIP

 

that is terrible news, but im sure the mir staff did all they could do
my thoughts and prayers go out to the family
