I just came from the track and I did 3 passes... The best one was 15.7 missing 2nd gear..

Everytime I pulled from 1st to 2nd the 2nd gear was blank, like if it wasnt there then I pressed the clutch again and tried and it grabbed........ I think I was overeving or something, is this normal?

Also 3rd gear grinded whenever I changed to it from 2nd.... I think that my clutch cable needs to be adjusted.... Is this a possible solution?

Its a b16A obd0 with y1 tranny

Also, I wasnt letting off the gas while changing gears...

loose clutch cable or the springs on your clutch disc are worn...

 

my clutch cable it is loose because I cut it too much and I cant adjust it anymore...... But in normal driving 3rd doesnt grind when I change from 2nd,...

 

ok...well... im not a big fan of full throttle shifting, but i still think the springs on your clutch disc are done...decidedly so because of the fact that its fine under normal driving. which gives the worn springs time to disengage the clutch disc.... why full throttle shift on a stock b16a...is it programed into ur ecu? i think ur hurting ur car.

My tranny does not grind, but if i power shift (not letting off gas) it does in 2 and 3.
