Default Summer Slam---Rules?

I guess this goes for the English Towns Fall Nat's too. Either I havn't talked to the
right person or they just don't know what the rules are yet. I keep getting told
"Sport FWD rules"

If that's the case some of the T4 cars can't run and the Power Street guys will be
at a power disadvantage..

Anyone have a clue?

Steve

That was the 3rd time out with the red one, what a great race! LOL

Summer Slam is kind loose on the rules. I remember seeing lexan and
26's a couple years ago.. You would think the rules would be a little stricker
with $2000 at stake to win..

Summer slam is usually all bracket racing if I remember correctly.

The last few years it was pretty much NHRA heads up class rules. Was hoping
it would be the same this year and include Power Street. I'm just not setup to
run with the T4 cars..

Guess I have to dig out the bottle! LOL

I talked to a guy named Paul today at E Town, he's just a "little" busy
getting ready for Power Aid!

He said he would call me back next week with the rules for both events.
He told me they are using "there own rules" for these events. I asked if they
were close to SP FWD, he said pretty close.. There will be no Power Street class..

i always remebered that when Javier was there the turbo class was pretty much sfwd rules minus the catch pan and fuel sample valve but if im not mistaken all other classes went off of the Import Survival Series rules

So 2400 for 1 power adder, 2500 for 2, 25" max slick, no air water I/C, no
lexan. 72mm turbo. Wonder if there's restrictions for K and Eco tech. I think
.400 tree?? or was it .500??

I have a feeling you know as much about the rules as they do.

"""Legitimate, street legal, currently registered vehicles. Minimum weights based on engine type and number of power adders. Qualified field, based on Low E.T. during qualifying. Slicks allowed. NHRA Rules Apply""""

Well this clears things up! LOL I'm guessing 07's Sp FWD rules...
