Default my setup, question?

ok so i'm building an ls/vtec, would i still be able to run pump gas with this set up?

b18a1 block
ctr pistons
b18a1 rods (shot peened)
b16 head
brian crower stage 2 cams
brian crower dual spring and titanium retainers
brian crower 33mm intake valves
brian crower 28mm exhaust valve
4-1 header
skunk2 intake manifold, and skunk 2 throttle body, 68mm

ok well if any more setup info is needed i can give you it, the head is not planed, using OEM headgasket. also the valve size could change if u think i can go bigger, i just want some opinions on the setup, thanks

PR3 head/B18A/B Block

STD = 12.825536009218106
.25 OS = 12.88971493738735

You are pushing the high 12's for compression so tuning will be critical for you to run safely and make power on pump gas. What kind of tuning will you be using and who will be tuning it for you?

Also leave your valves the stock size.

Danny has tuned lots of different cars on different tuning systems so I would email or call him to see what he suggests you use. If you haven't installed the ctr pistons yet maybe you should consider using some JDM ITR or JDM b16a pistons instead. Those cams you're using certainly don't require that amount of compression to make power. Less compression would give you more room to move when tuning.
