Suspension bolt help!!

Default Suspension bolt help!!

K well im taking out my rear shocks to put in new coilovers but the driver side bolt wont seem to budge (Like its on there pretty good) ive even tried using my air gun as well and wen you tryin turnin it the rubber sealant inside kinda moves with....soo now what other options can i try using???

get a longer bar to get some leverage... or make sure that that isnt the bolt connected to the trailing arm... thats not supposed to move!

also you can try jacking up the control arm, to relieve the pressure on the strut asembly. Use some lubricant to loosen the bolt.

yea what they said ^^^and you could put a long pipe on the end of ratchet to give you more leverage

Try using a pry bar under the head of the bolt while at the same time backing it out with the impact wrench. That and a lot of PB blast.

Lots of wd40 on it, then get good leverage, it's all about leverage, seriously. If there's any one thing I've learned while working on my suspension, it's that you need leverage to get stubborn bolts.

i just did my suspension today and had the same prob... grabbed me some wd-40, posed my legs in a good position and pulled as hard as i could hahaha i only weigh 140.... step your **** up son!

It could be seized, mine were. Matt and I tried everything to get them off. I eventually had to take it to the shop.
