Default Rear deck rattles when music is @ full volume

A few months ago, I replaced my stock 6.5" speakers in my 07 Honda Civic LX with some 3-way Kenwood speakers of the same size. The speakers are 35 watts RMS, 180 watts peak. When I crank up my music to full volume (I believe that's 40 watts to each speaker), the rear deck & the trunk rattles. Keep in mind that I do not have subs & amps hooked up; just the factory stereo w/aftermarket speakers. The fronts don't do that; just the rear deck. Any ideas on why this is happening? Any answers are appreciated.

The speakers are tight as a drum. But yeah, I'll invest in some Dynomat. Until then, I guess I have to keep my music @ low key... *lol*

Thanks for your help. You know, I find it interesting that a stock stereo has that capability. None of my other cars prior to this one had that kind of power from the stock stereo.

I don't think there's an aftermarket kit for our R18s yet. There are some for the K20 Si.

your plastic deck lid is making contact with the metal shelf underneath it. wool felt or dynomat.
