Possible to put a longer flex section in my AC line coming off the Compressor?
I have had to zip-tie my AC pretty tightly to keep the upper flex section (from top of compressor) from hitting the runners on the turbo manifold. If I could install a longer section of soft line, maybe 6 inches, I would be able to pull it away easily without torquing the line as much as I am. Would any AC repair place no how to do this? How much do you think it would cost outside of the draining and re-filling of the coolant?

You betcha. I had a flex line put in to replace the larger a/c line on the pass. side after expo last year. You'll just need to find a place that specializes in custom work and can weld aluminum.

Great, how much do you think it will run me? I know a few nice performance shops near me. I'm sure one of them can do it.

I had to remove the line from the car. They then cut the pipe at the fittings so they could reuse them and then welded a high pressure flexible line between them. I think it cost me about $40... the cheapest mod I have ever done.
