i think i may have blew a fuse trying to reset my computer cuz the ratchet touched metal and sparked and after a while my speedometer just died on me and my battery light came on but the rpm meter still works fine. all for a stupid 02 sensor i hate ca emissions!!! any help on where and if there is a possible fuse i may or may not have blown?

 

does it just not come on at all now or does it come on and die out? the cheapest fix would be to buy a box of fuses and look at the fuse box in your car and see if any of them are blown. you can usually tell if the thin strip of metal is broken

 

ok so i got it to work again the alternator fuse was blown and the battery light came off and the speedo was working fine. but now as i was driving the light came back on the fuse blew out again and there was some smoke... i think this one is passed you guys since i can only write whats wrong considering its electrical and thats a pain in the a**. the car doesnt even start anymore the starter kicks but the engine dont run. the weird part was when it was on i could shut off the ignition take the key out and the car was still on no way to turn it off except to stall it even then the dash lights were still on i think i got a massive short cuz of the exposed 02 sensor wire. i think its time i have shop look at it.. thanks for your help guys.
